Trip Report

Trail work continued on the new section of Rebel Rock Trail (commenced on Obsidian Field Day, 14 May). Under threatening skies, one more stretch of trail was improved by removing stumps, prying rocks and adjusting tread. Thought: When does a half-buried rock become a protruding boulder, and a ditto nearly immovable object? Some of the latter category were "readjusted" to the overall betterment of the new trail, but future users will "never know" . . . Wednesday's trail crew involved John Cecil, Betty Legris, and leader Pete Cecil.
