Red Butte

Description:

This hike starts at the Duffy Lake trailhead and goes past Duffy and Mowich Lakes before heading up a red cinder cone called Red Butte. We'll have lunch on top while enjoying the great views. On the way back a stop for a swim in Duffy Lake is a real possibility. Some of us may decide to stop at Takoda's restaurant on the way home.

Please note that permits for this trailhead will not be issued until 10 days before the hike. I'll set the maximum participants at 12 for now and adjust it if necessary.
