Trip Report

Our group of volunteers met at the lodge to hike the Ribbon Trail towards 30th. We met a City staffer, Diane Steeck, to instruct us on how to identify and salvage Meadow Checkermallow (Sidalcea campestris) from along the trail. Additionally, we salvaged Goldenbanner (Thermopsis gracilis). The salvage project is in anticipation of road construction southwest of the lodge.
