Trip Report

On a very "warm" evening our group of volunteers met up with City staff Ivery and Michelle to replace rotting trail tread retaining wall and anchors. Dan and Larry easily peeled the rotting log away from the trail. Then the hard work of digging trenches for anchors began. The rock bar that the City staff brought along was very useful as Dan needed it to chip away at the butte to get the trenches deep enough to fully cover the peeler-core anchors. Our group made short work of setting all the peeler-cores and the City was able to resurface the trail the next day.

Clara did an excellent job cleaning the kiosk and cutting back blackberries from the Fox Hollow Trailhead kiosk
