Description:

Our path will start at the Greenway Bike Bridge behind Valley River Center.

We’ll head north on the East Bank Trail and reach the shops on the north side of Green Acres Road. At this time we can get lunch/snack/coffee. (Last year most people chose lunch at Café Yumm.) Then we’ll re-trace our steps until we come to the Owosso Bike Bridge. After crossing the river here, our path heads south on a short section on streets. Then on to West Bank Path. The Greenway Bridge returns us to our starting point.

Trip Report

I little rain doesn't deter Obsidian from getting together for walk along the river. The Willamette was high and muddy today as we strode the River Path. There we a few newly downed tress as a result of recent windy days and saturated soils. But Obsidian good fortune gave us several miles rain free. A pleasant lunch at Cafe Yumm was a ideal way to take a break.
