Description:

We will hike to all 3 Rosary Lakes and beyond to Maiden Saddle. Lunch will take place at one of the lakes after going to the saddle and back. Swimming and wading is an option for those who choose to. If smoke, fire or air quality becomes an issue, I will contact all participants.
Masks can be worn in the vehicles.

Trip Report

What a glorious day at Rosary Lakes and beyond. Clear skies, plants and soil recently rained on, snow on Diamond Peak, great views and 3 lakes to swim in. This group of 4 agreed to go further up the trail, changing our mileage to 12 instead of 9 miles. This provided views south to snow covered Mt Scott on the Crater rim and pointy Thielsen. The air was refreshing with a gentle breeze and low 70s. Three hikers enjoyed a refreshing dip in the beautiful Lower Rosary Lake. Kathie enjoyed a dip in all 3 lakes. We left with curiosity to return and explore more of the area.
