Row River Trillium Walk

Description:

Our paved walk will start at Mosby Creek Trailhead go to Dorena Dam and back. Trilliums will be in abundance along with other flowers. Binoculars may be helpful while standing on the dam. Two covered bridges and two railroad bridges will be part of the journey.
The 36 mile drive equals $3.96 for your driver.
Bring water, snacks and clothing layers as needed.
If interested in lunch at Cottage Grove discuss it with drivers.

Trip Report

So many flowers are starting to appear along the bike path. Indian plum, current, trillium, snow queen, fawn lily, iris, and more provided joy for us. Both bridges crossing Mosby Creek and Row River gave opportunities to see stream flow and nearby covered bridges. Going up on Dorena Dam showed a lake lower than a couple weeks ago, yet still quite full. The stroll was delightful with one heavy shower. Come enjoy the Row River bike path on foot or on a bike.
