Description:

This may be the first time we will have a visitor from Russia present a program to us. Dr. Nadja Nikolaeva, a researcher at the Forest Research Institute of the Karelian Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, specializes in the study of birch trees.
She will give an illustrated talk, Travels Through the Countryside Of Russia. She says, “I like to talk with different people and exchange experiences.” She will be spending her vacation in Oregon and plans to travel from Mt. Hood to the Redwoods.
