Trip Report

Fresh snow, sunshine, temps in the teens and twenties all made for an extremely beautiful day. Salt Creek Falls cascaded down with ice all around. The forested hike up to Diamond Creek Falls sparkled with an occasional clump of snow falling. Lunch near Diamond Creek Falls was magic with the air full of sparkling snow blowing about. Venturing back, the silence was broken by the sound of a passing train nearby. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this winter outing.
