Description:

Sawtooth Rock is an out-and-back hike to an interesting rock formation. There is an open ridge with a great wild flower meadow. The trail is rated moderate for mileage and gain. It is a well-designed trail which has recently been cleared of fallen trees. We will take a snack break near the two rock pinnacles and explore them briefly before heading back.

We will meet at the LCC east parking lot and leave promptly at 8:30. Take Hwy 58 to Dexter, right at Rattlesnake Road for 6.4 miles, left at Eagles Rest Road for 8.8 miles. We park at the Lost Creek Trailhead.

Trip Report

A great hike on a nice trail. There was plenty of rain which was keeping Lost Creek busy as it gurgled its way by the trail. The rain stopped right on queue as we entered the large meadow containing the rock formations which we were there to enjoy. I was looking forward to this hike and it certainly didn\'t disappoint.
