Shotgun Creek

Description:

A woodsy loop hike along a cheery creek in the Mohawk Valley just 30 minutes out of Eugene. It's a good trail to learn as miles can be added by looping around Shotgun Creek, Tiki Trail and Drury Trail. Dress for the weather, likely mud, and poles are helpful.

Meet at Office Depot across from Costco. Suggested carpool cost is $7.

Trip Report

Even though the day was overcast and drizzly at times, the forest was vibrant and lush looking. The ferns were so happy and the creek supplied such cheerful noise. Lovely trail, we all look forward to doing it again and adding the Drury Loop. And let it be noted that Vern promised that he would eventually post a Horse Rock hike.
