Description:
This is a 2-3 day climbing trip depending on how long you wish to stay. We will be car camping Fri and Saturday night at a close by dispersed campground with no services. Bring extra water, tent, food, etc for camping. We will go to two different climbing areas over the weekend, one in Smith Rock and one nearby called the Zoo. The Zoo requires a 40 minute hike in, so bring good and comfortable hiking shoes. We will be meeting at Albertsons on 58th and Main Street in Springfield. to caravan over to Smith Rock more information will be provided to participants.

Supplies and Equipment Required: You will need a climbing harness (these will be inspected by climb leaders to ensure they are in good shape), rock shoes, helmet, 2 locking carabiners, a personal anchor, belay device and sport or trad equipment if you have it. You are also encouraged to bring your own rope if you plan to lead.
