Trip Report

On a beautiful clear fall-like day, 14 of 16 climbers made the summit, along with about 150 other hikers! Ten of us started at the trailhead, miss-connecting with the other six … They eventually started an hour later, and we all rendezvoused at the top at about 2:30 p.m. Rainier and Shasta were visible, and all points in-between. Climbers were Obsidians Jan Wright, Karen Myers, Margy Riggs, Dave Strutin, co-leaders Chris Miller and Buzz Blumm, and nonmembers Leslie Sullivan, Karen Sjolund, Steve Myers, Brock Hardy, Frank McCullough, Heidi & Eric Farry, Curt Offenbacher and Jim Whitfield.
