Trip Report

We all met at the Devil's Lake trailhead at 8:30 a.m. A beautiful, clear day. The hike to the top (4800 ft. Elevation gain) at 10,300 ft. of altitude, was uneventful, except for the other 150 people on the trail. It was windy on top, but we stayed warm in the rock shelters. We walked down in the usual three hours, arriving at our cars around 5:30 p.m. Climbers were Pat Adams, Christine Stockdale, Jim & Melody Clarkson, Rich Romm, Bob Huntley, soon-to-become members Robert & Shelly Mason, Ein Amen and Christy Levy and Buzz Blumm (leader).
