Spencer Butte to Cascade Raptor Center

Description:

Obsidian participants on this trip will support 30 hikers participating in the One West Conference sponsored by Travel Lane County. We will start in the main parking lot for Spencer Butte, go to the Summit and then hike down to the the Ridgeline trail to the Raptor Center. We can do a car shuttle back to the SB trailhead or the mileage can be increased to 5.3 miles if we hike back.

Trip Report

Three Obsidians guided 12 participants from the One West Conference hosted by Travel Lane County to the top of Spencer Butte and along the Ridgeline Trail to the Cascade Raptor Center. The participants were energetic and eager to have an outdoor experience. Despite not having views from the top due to haze, it was enjoyable to show off one of Eugene\'s gems.
