Description:

We have a project! We'll be brushing along the Ridgeline Trail from Cline Road to Fox Hollow Trailhead.

Meet at the Fox Hollow Trailhead parking lot, the gravel lot across Fox Hollow from the Raptor Center.

Trip Report

We met up at the Fox Hollow Trailhead on a particularly warm August evening to work independently to brush the trailsides of the Ridgeline from the Cline Road access back to the Fox Hollow Trailhead. We were surprised to see 2 yearling deer near the road as we waited for everyone to arrive. We hiked into the Cline Road access and worked our way back to the trailhead. The loppers and hand clippers had a hard time making good progress in the trailing blackberry and black raspberry that lined the trail. Fortunately we had a couple of weedcutters with us that we were able to use to their fullest potential to cut them back. We enjoyed our post-work tailgate drinks and snacks after returning to the trailhead.<br />
