Description:

For this outing we'll be working in Wild Iris Ridge Park. We'll be adding and improving drainage ditches that have seen heavy use this Spring.

Meet at the Wild Iris Ridge Trailhead parking lot, the gravel lot on Bailey Hill Road.

Trip Report

We scrambled at the start of the outing because the main parking lot off Bailey Hill Road was full and switched to meeting up at the end of Bailey View Drive. Once we all made it to Bailey View Drive we were able to grab tools and head out to start our project for the day adding drainage ditches along the trails in Wild Iris Ridge Park. We hiked in from the top enjoying wildflowers along the way. We saw Camas, Hound\'s Tongue, Madrone, and several other flowers that I can\'t remember the names of all in bloom. We spent most of our time on 2 new sections of ditch. On the way out Janet spotted some very well camouflaged Chocolate Lilies right beside the trail. <br />
