For this outing we'll be focusing on clearing drainage features along the Tie and Ridgeline Trails.

Meet at the Willamette and 52nd Trailhead parking lot, the gravel lot on Willamette.

Trip Report

For this outing our group of unsinkable Obsidians met up at the Willamette and 52nd Trailhead parking lot during an atmospheric river. We grabbed tools (4 Terra hoes, 1 shovel, & 1 silage fork) and gloves before heading out on the trail. We stopped at the drainage below the switchbacks and cleared those first 3 before hiking onto the Tie Trail Junction and clearing the set of drainage with 3 culverts just before it. We hiked up the Tie Trail a little clearing 2 drainages. We then worked our way back out clearing drainages and cutting back some of the overhanging branches, using loppers and saws we brought from home, that were weighed down by accumulated rain water. <br />
