Trip Report

Our group of volunteers met at the Willamette & 52nd trailhead for our 1st Wednesday evening outing of our summer schedule. (We meet on Wednesday nights during the summer so our outings don't conflict with all of the more exciting weekend trips we're all going on!) Our group of lopper, handclipper, handsaw, and machete wielding volunteers hiked up along the Ridgeline Trail and 1/3 the way up the Tie Trail cutting, slicing, and dicing back overhanging brush from the trailsides. We hiked out and enjoyed some well deserved cookies and lemonade (a trail maintainer's snacks of choice) in the parking lot.
