Description:

This is an aerobic hike with few stops. Come a few minutes early so we can leave on time. The hike takes around 2 hours and 45 minutes.
To get to the trailhead: Take West Amazon to Martin Street. Turn left. Drive past Kinney Park and park on Martin at the Kiosk sign board across from Canyon Drive Street sign with hiker symbol. Please call the leader if any questions. One can take LTD Bus #28 to Martin Street

Trip Report

As we hiked through intermittent showers, I felt amazed at how much natural beauty and new life can spring from death and destruction. Among the downed limbs and fallen giants of the ice storm, we saw hundreds of white trilliums, dozens of lavender orchids and a few bright red elf cups.
