*** NOTE: Eugene Air Quality improved considerably the last 12 hours, but still just into the 'Unhealthy' range. I'll be at the meeting point with the most current numbers. Proceed using your best judgement.

This is our weekly aerobic hike starting at Martin Street Trailhead up to Spencer Butte. We start promptly so come a
few minutes early to check in. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather. It is a steady pace varying from moderate to
fast. Guests are welcome. Call the leader if you have questions.
To get to the trailhead: Take West Amazon to Martin Street. Turn left. Drive past Kinney Park and park on Martin Street at the Kiosk sign board across from Canyon Drive Street sign with hiker symbol. Please call the leader if any questions. One can take LTD Bus #28 to Martin Street.

Trip Report

Hike was cancelled at the trailhead, after evaluating and breathing the air quality. AQI was 151, but it *seemed* worse than that -- visibility was poor. It wasn't a good day for an aerobic hike to the summit.

A smaller group went on a shorter hike on their own.
