Description:

This is our weekly aerobic hike starting at Martin Street Trailhead up to Spencer Butte. We start promptly so come a few minutes early to check in. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather. It is a steady pace varying from moderate to fast. Guests are welcome. Call the leader if you have questions.
To get to the trailhead: Take West Amazon to Martin Street. Turn left. Drive past Kinney Park and park on Martin Street at the Kiosk sign board across from Canyon Drive Street sign with hiker symbol. Please call the leader if any questions. One can take LTD Bus #28 to Martin Street.

Trip Report

Although the weather report called for rain, we had a window of rain free skies. Joining us was non member Hannah. A U of O student from Coos bay. All summited and we were treated to a rain poem by Vicky. Dave had a late start but soon joined us on top.
