Trip Report

We celebrated the 90th anniversary of the club ( November 3, 1927) on the summit with red antique Spitzenburg apples.
The apple was reported to have been a favorite of Thomas Jefferson who planted several of the trees at Monticello. It will have to do since we don't know the favorite apple of our first Obsidian president, John Bovard.
