Description:

This is our weekly aerobic hike starting at Martin Street Trailhead up to Spencer Butte. We start promptly so come a few minutes early to check in. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather. It is a steady pace varying from moderate to fast. Guests are welcome.
To get to the trailhead: Take West Amazon to Martin Street. Turn left. Drive past Kinney Park and park on Martin Street at the Kiosk sign board across from Canyon Drive Street sign with hiker symbol. One can take LTD Bus #28 to Martin Street. Please call the leader if any questions.

Trip Report

A total of 18 hardy hikers including two minors accompanying Tommy Young completed the usual conditioning course from Martin Street to the top of Spencer Butte in fog and low clouds. The trillium was abundant and spring was in the air. All went well.
