Description:

This is our weekly aerobic hike starting at Martin Street Trailhead up to Spencer Butte. We start promptly so come a few minutes early to check in. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather. It is a steady pace varying from moderate to fast. Guests are welcome.

To get to the trailhead: Take West Amazon to Martin Street. Turn left. Drive past Kinney Park and park on Martin Street at the Kiosk sign board across from Canyon Drive Street sign with hiker symbol. One can take LTD Bus #28 to Martin Street. Please call the leader if any questions

Trip Report

Rainy day on the Butte with significant south wind at the summit and temperature in the 30s. Needless to say, we didn't stay long on top and headed back down into the shelter of the woods. Nice day to be on the trail.
