Description:

Trees cast off years and grant health and cheer so Emerson claimed. Enjoy a peaceful hike with cheerful friends to the top of the Butte. Watch for updates about changes due to weather. The pace will be moderate.

To get to the trailhead: Take West Amazon to Martin Street. Turn left. Drive past Kinney Park and park on Martin Street at the Kiosk sign board across from Canyon Drive Street sign with hiker symbol. Trip Report

Kay's date pinwheel cookies made it easier for hunker down on the windy, rainy and cold summit. It was fun to share the trail with three guests.
