Description:

The hike will be the usual Spencer Butte hike. Caution for root wad holes and some debris on the trail.
To get to the trailhead: Take West Amazon to Martin Street. Turn left. Drive past Kinney Park and park on Martin Street at the Kiosk sign board across from Canyon Drive Street sign with hiker symbol. One can take LTD Bus #28 to Martin Street.

Trip Report

Quiet day on the Butte, first Wednesday hike since the big snowstorm. The trail will need some work with a few root wads having made a hole, and a few small plants need to be trimmed. First trilliums of the year were seen today, and it is clear that the plants germinated recently.
