Trip Report

Our group of 8 volunteers met Josh Schrader of Parks and Open Space, for our last Wednesday evening trails trip, to hike up the main trail and use brush to cover and block illicit side trails. We broke into 2 small groups, with each group blocking trails on the ridges on both sides of the rock bridges. We continued working all the way up to just below tree line. Dan Gilmore worked cutting down small trees around the Junction Meadow. Clara Emlen worked diligently clearing drains and culverts along the main trail which will give us good head start for this fall's work.
