Trip Report

Our group met at the main Spencer Butte parking lot to continue our work cleaning (sweeping) the summit steps. This time we hiked up the West Trail, stopping briefly to clear out the drainage ditches. We hiked to the summit and began sweeping the steps clean on our way down.

The cleaning went relatively smoothely except that we swept up quite the dust storm. We were graced by Dan's stylish appearance, reminiscent of an Old West bandit, with his face covered by his yellow bandana.
