For this month's outing we will be cleaning the drainage along the West Trail and time permitting along the Main Trail.

Meet at the main Spencer Butte parking lot, the paved lot on Willamette Street.

Trip Report

We met up on a brisk morning to clean the trailhead and clear drainage. Larry, Dan, and Matt hiked up the West Trail clearing drainage along the way. We summitted and then came down the Main Trail clearing drainage ditches and checking culverts.

We met up with the rest of our group as they finished cleaning the trailhead and joined in during the final steps of clearing sticks to help the Fawn Lilies prosper under Mark's guidance. The steps were cleaned immaculately by Clara and Joanna. Janet filled a garbage bag with primarily bags of dog poop. Seems somewhat ironic to fill a large bag with small bags.
