Trip Report

With an expected high of 102 degrees, our 6:00 am departure time at 65 degrees made us very happy. It was interesting to see the repair work on the Tie Trail. What a difference the smooth surface will make for year round hiking. Jack and Kate were on their first Obsidian trip and quickly volunteered to pick up the glass shards of a broken bottle near the upper section of steps. We let them know that it was not a requirement for membership.It was 75 degrees when we returned to the parking lot at 8:00.
