Description:

The Tie Trail is open. It is fun to check out the repairs. Start early to avoid the heat.

Meet at the Fox Hollow trailhead parking area across from the Raptor Center. The round trip takes around 2 hours.

If you need a longer hike, it would be easy to continue hiking on the Ridgeline Trail to Dillard or beyond.

Trip Report

It was 68 degrees and muggy when we started our hike at 7:00 am. We did pick up some litter here and there with Holger taking high honors with his steep descent to retrieve a well worn and torn black garment. It is hard to get up early but all were happy to have a two hour hike with plenty of time left for household chores.
