Description:

Meeting place is Spring Blvd Trailhead, not so easy to find. (If you have a GPS app, try: 4699 Spring Blvd or https://goo.gl/maps/NyfNTVxX1pcdoW6z6).

It will take around two hours to walk to the top of Spencer Butte.

Depending on the weather and the stamina of the group, we may divide into two groups at one of the trail junctions. Email me at jbjacobsen@comcast.net if you need directions. If you want a shorter trip, you could opt to meet us at the Dillard East Trailhead.

Trip Report

Twelve left the Spring Blvd. Trailhead up to Mt. Baldy. A guest joined us at the Baldy Trailhead. Two guests were happy when they connected with us at the Fox Hollow Trailhead while two members and one guest returned to Spring Blvd. One member left us at the Tie Junction to continued on to Blanton. Eleven summited and were all accounted for back at Spring Blvd. Joel Greer called it a flexible, customized hike. Carolyn Fish said she would register later.
