Trip Report

The lodge was warm and inviting with a fire, decorated tables, and hot apple cider for the 38 hikers who brought 150 pairs of new wool socks for the Egan Warming Center. Thanks to everyone who shared their special foods and helped with the prep and clean up tasks. We especially thank Joella who coordinated the potluck and inspires us with her concerns for the homeless. She took the leftover food to the Nightingale homeless shelter. Generosity made our sixth annual gathering a special way to start the holiday season.
