Trip Report

After a rainy, windy weekend six of us spent 3 hours to get debris off the Spencer Butte area trails. Not a as many fir boughs to rake off as we had expected but a couple of smaller trees had come down and had to be cut out. Also, one log about 12 inches by 12 feet was partially blocking the trail but with some effort and a lifting strap we moved it down slope from the path. Did some pruning of low hanging maple limbs and cleaned out a few culverts. The crew covered the Ridgeline Trail between Willamette and Fox Hollow, the Tie Trail, and the trail from the main parking lot to the junction with the Tie trail.
