Trip Report

Perfect day for a hike along Sweet Creek. Wild flowers out in profusion. The only sad note was the amount of water in the creek for this time of year. It looks more like July or August. After getting back to car we enjoyed a snack break at a new picnic table. We then drove the 1.3 miles up the road and picked up the trail to the confluence of Sweet Creek and Beaver Creek. In a joint decision we decided to go on to Florence for an early dinner. What a difference a few miles can make. Windy and cold, we were happy to eat in doors. Sunny all day so that makes for a great day.
