Description:

The hike will start at 10 am from Tahkentich Campground Varied terrain with hiking through the forest, on the dunes and along the beach. It's a 6.3 mile loop with a beautiful view of Three Mile Lake. People coming from Eugene should meet at the W11th Target parking lot and LEAVE NO LATER than 8:30. Trip leader and co-leader who live in Florence, will meet everyone at the trailhead.

Trip Report

We had beautiful weather for our 6.3 mile hike counter clockwise, through forest to the beach where we headed south on the beach and then went up through the dunes to beautiful Three Mile Lake where we stopped and had lunch, enjoying the view. Then, we completed the loop through lush forest.
