Trip Report

Left the PCT trailhead about 6:30 a.m. for the mountain. Two of the people who had signed up did not show. Made good time up to the saddle. There was a large group coming down to the crawl, so we took our time getting up to that point. There were two groups of two ahead of us, so we waited for them to go. Set a fixed line across the crawl and moved on up to the summit pinnacle. Waited again and about noon set up a fixed line to the summit. All climbers got to the summit, and we rappelled down the summit pinnacle and went back down the mountain. Hit the PCT about 3:00 p.m. and arrived at the trailhead before 5:00 p.m. Broke up and headed back to Eugene. Climbers were Don Gilman, Justin Rolfe-Redding and Bill Johnson, leader.
