Description:

Nice wildflower hike through multiple meadows. The group will decide whether to actually hike to the top of Tire Mountain (which has minimal views due to growth of trees). If not, we will turn around after the last meadow making our hike about 6 miles round trip.

Trip Report

Pleasant weather, a great group of hikers, and peak wildflower displays made for a great hike to the summit of Tire Mountain and back. The forecast was dreary & wet, but we lucked out with only a few very light, short, sprinkles of rain. The Arrowleaf Balsamroot was particularly spectacular!
