Description:

Rock climb at the world renown Smith Rock! We will spend two days climbing at Smith Rock State Park. The type of climbing we do will depend on the group, but there will be opportunities to do sport climbing, "trad" climbing and even practice lead climbing. We will camp Sat night in nearby Steelhead Falls primitive camping. Note that there is a $5 vehicle charge for parking at Smith Rock.

Trip Report

The rain kept us away from Smith on Sat, but we made up for it on Sunday. We camped at Steelhead Falls on Sat and had a great taco potluck Sat night. We got up early and started climbing before the crowds arrived and were able to set up climbs all day. Everyone did amazing on the rock!
