Description:

For this outing we'll be working along the Ridgeline in Amazon Headwaters Park to cut back brush and cleanup around a couple of rootwads.

Meet at the Fox Hollow Trailhead parking lot, the gravel lot on Fox Hollow across from the Cascade Raptor Center.

Matt, David, and Hobe excited to find a labeled task to complete.

Trip Report

For this outing we tackled the Ridgeline Trail in Amazon Headwaters Park. We lightly cut back woody brush from the trailsides as we hiked in to find the rootwads that needed their roots cut back from the trailsides. David, Matt, and Hobe found each of the 3 rootwads while Eva and Janet continued to the Dillard West trailhead kiosk to clean it, pull staples, and clean the Tex Metzler plaque. Dave continued to prune back woody brush on the trailsides. We regrouped at the last rootwad and hiked back to the trailhead to enjoy snacks and juice. <br /><br />
