Description:

Please join us on the 13th Annual Turkey Trimming hike! We change the route every year and will be walking on very low traffic streets. This is a moderately fast paced hike (not a saunter); after all, our goal is to burn some calories before we ingest more. The route: we start up a huffy puffy hill on 28th; south on University and Potter; up N. Shasta Loop and around the neighborhood; and back down to Amazon Park.

Trip Report

We lucked out on the weather - cloudy, but dry, except for a few drops as we neared the parking lot. This was a fast group of 15 Obsidians! It took us 2 hours and 35 minutes to complete 7 miles, including stops at many intersections. Splendid way to get some exercise and share stories and community with friends on Thanksgiving Day.
