Do you know which UO building has two fronts but no back? Or which building was constructed with locally sourced bricks? Join us as Fred Tepfer, who worked in UO Campus Planning for 32 years, walks us through historic campus areas and, as an architect, describes unique campus architecture and design concepts. This will be more of a saunter but filled with wonderful information and will take approximately 2 hours to complete.

Trip Report

Retired UO Campus Planner Fred Tepfer provided twelve of us interesting and unique information regarding the UO campus design and buildings. The walk took us from the original campus building through the decades to some of the most recently constructed buildings with discussion as to how the design and layout was created and how the original design changed through the years. Many thanks to Fred for sharing his time and knowledge about the UO campus!
