Description:

We will walk on the UO campus to view sculptures and ornamentation available without entering a building. We will be focusing on the gargoyles and colophons around the Lokey Science Complex and nearby Allen Hall, as well as the Knight Library.

Meet at the corner of Kincaid and 13th (opposite the Duck Store). Bring a mask for any close contact, and distance as needed to observe Covid protocols. The trip leader is vaccinated and boosted. Due to UO regulations, we will be unable to enter the buildings. Note: Today is Daylight Savings so remember to spring forward the evening before. The walk should be about 1.5 hours.

Trip Report

The weather was a bit cool and windy, but it did not lessen our enjoyment of the UO's iconography at the Knight Library, the Lokey Science Complex and Allen Hall.
