For this post-Thanksgiving outing we'll be working in Wild Iris Ridge park to plant over 900 native plants in an areas that were burned.

To get to the starting place, take 18th to Bailey Hill Road, turn onto Warren, head south, stay with Warren as it turns off to the right, west, until you get to Summit Terrace. Head west on Summit Terrace Drive until you get to Bailey View Drive. Take a right, west, and travel to the road dead ends at Wild Iris Ridge!

Trip Report

For this month's outing we worked in Wild Iris Ridge park re-planting burned areas with native species. We met up on a drizzly overcast day and hiked into Wild Iris Ridge Park. Once at the location, we broke into small groups planting 50-60 groups of plants into each of the burned areas leftover form the City burning slash piles.
