Description:

This is the first part of the Eugene to Crest Trail on Nat'l Forest lands. We'll start near Ivan Oakes Campground on Lookout Point Reservoir. The same day as this hike, another Obsidian Group will be hiking from near the dam to reach Ivan Oakes via the North Shore Trail. A couple of campsites have been reserved so both hiking groups can meet at Ivan Oakes for refreshments and some car shuttling. Exact logistics of car shuttle to be worked out.
