Description:

Lodge Rentals are picking up. We have 4 days of rentals coming up in September. It's time to catch up on a number of things inside and out. We will work from 9 to noon. If you feel like bringing snacks for the 10:30 break nobody will stop you.

Looks like most our work will be outside. Weeding, mowing. pruning,etc. Also need to sort out exterior paint and stain.

Trip Report

This was really a grounds work party with a super crew. A lot more was done than just a little mowing and trimming: full scale pruning so that individual plants can be seen rather than just be a wall of green surrounding the Lodge, two small but growing firs were removed so that a young oak and pine have a chance to flourish, more work was done between the fence and the street to give our property more “curb appeal,” pole saw work took care of some low hanging branches, and a new tip on the pressure washer made cleaning the walkways at the Lodge even more effective. It’s remarkable what 15 diligent Obsidians can accomplish in a short time. Thanks everyone!
