Trip Report

Rainy coastal weather lead to a change in plans so the group completed an 8+ mile hike from the Cape Perpetua overlook down to the Ocean Drive beach area south of Yachats and back up to the overlook. A beautiful day of mixed fog, misty rain and clear, cloudy skies. The group especially enjoyed seeing the Amanda grotto and statue for the first time. A special note of thanks to Donna Ellickson for taking on her first time in the Assistant Leader role!
