DESCRIPTION:Trip update (8/8): Weather is not looking very good for Saturday.  This climb is being moved to Sunday.  Specific logistics are being communicated via email to the team members.  Either camp at Santiam Pass PCT Saturday evening or meet at 3:50am on Sunday morning at the Springfield Albertsons.  We plan to be hiking out of the PCT parking lot at 5:30am Sunday morning.

SUMMARY:Lookout Creek
DESCRIPTION:Lookout Creek Old Growth Trail located in the H J Andrews Experimental Forest with trees 450 years of age.  This trail is hiked out and back. With some of the going steeply up and down.  This area has several on going research projects. I have not hiked this trail before\, so I consider this hike exploratory.  I will have a few pages of history on the area for those who would like to know more.
