SUMMARY:Scott Mountain Loop
DESCRIPTION:Scott Mountain Loop is one of my favorite hikes.  We will hike to four lakes; Benson\, Tenas\, Hand and Scott Lakes.  We will have amazing views of cascade peaks from the top of Scott Mt.  We hike through old growth forests\, meadows\, the western edge of a major lava flow and one of the best picture spots for the Three Sisters.\nBring your swim suit or water shoes if you would like to take quick dip in Tenas Lake.  I plan on lunch on the top of Scott Mountain.  Later in the hike there is a great spot for huckleberries (hopefully they will be ripe).\nWe will likely be back in Eugene by 5 PM.\nThis is a long hike with a moderate fast pace due to the distance.
